David and his wife, Keely, are happiest in a hammock at springtime. If you can’t find them outside, they are likely at home reading, cooking, napping, or playing piano. After getting married in 2015, they moved to Atlanta (and later Alpharetta) where David is a teacher at Mount Pisgah Christian School and Keely is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

The youngest of four, David grew up in a musical family. His mom fondly recalls stories of baby Dave whistling to hymns in the church pew while the rest of the family smiled and sang. From those humble roots, he has been leading and worshipping in churches most of his life.

Morgan grew up in Florida and met her husband Eric while attending Stetson University. They both have political science degrees and a deep, deep love for tacos.

Morgan has a heart for helping others and caring for God’s people. Eric and Morgan spent the early part of their marriage building community in a small church and serving together in ministry.

When she is not chasing their son E.J. around, Morgan loves to play tennis throughout the week. At any given moment, she’d love to talk about the Enneagram with you.

Evan & Grace Chasteen head up the high school ministry at The Parish. Home for them is Alpharetta, GA, where they’re raising two kids, Olive and Boone. They also have two dogs, Michael and Madge, and yes, 16 chickens (it’s a fun backyard).

They first crossed paths serving at a summer camp for high schoolers in 2014 and have been together ever since. By day, Evan dives into digital marketing, ghostwriting online, and running long distances, while Grace focuses on her art and is working her way to be a certified yoga instructor.

Outside of work and church, we’re all about family time. Camping trips, planning for the future, or just some quiet downtime – that’s how we roll.

Kristen moved to Roswell with her family as a child and, after a stent away, moved back with her husband Tyler when they were expecting their first son in 2017. Kristen met Tyler at UGA while they were both volunteering for an outreach ministry.

Through the years, Kristen has volunteered and served in churches and ministries in several capacities. She desires for all Gods children to internalize His Story that it may transform the way they view themselves and the world around them.

Tyler and Kristen have two young boys, Ben and Wade. Kristen also works as a nurse in a local office. In their free time, her family loves playing outside and being with friends.

Georgia (Forsyth County) is where Shannon has lived for the better part of the past 20 years. But Tennessee is where her roots are, and Ohio is in her bones. Her first 20 years orbited around Lipcomb University in Nashville, where she attended the campus school from first through twelfth grades, met her husband, John, and then graduated from the university with a BS in Elementary Education.  

Raising and educating her four children has been her vocation prior to joining the Parish staff. She comes from long line of teachers, pastors, preachers, and elders. She brings her formal equipping as an educator, accrued wisdom as mother, and a shepherd’s heart to the families and children of our church. When she’s not engaged in church work, you’re likely to find her in her garden with dirty hands and a happy heart. One day, she dreams of not just shepherding people but sheep as well.
