Daily Office | 2.2.14

We are in week four of Epiphany, the season in the church calendar that celebrates the revealing of Christ’s true identity as the Messiah and Son of God. Join with us this week as we study the scripture and meditate on this amazing truth – that God sent Jesus to save us and restore all of creation.

This prayer (or Collect) and these scriptures are taken from the Anglican Book of Common Prayer.

Almighty and everlasting God, you govern all things both in heaven and on earth: Mercifully hear the supplications of your people, and in our time grant us your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
