Join us for Easter at 9am or 10:30am

Daily Office | 1.19.14

We are in week two of Epiphany, the season in the church calendar that celebrates the revealing of Christ’s true identity as the Messiah and Son of God. Join with us this week as we study the scripture and meditate on this amazing truth – that God sent Jesus to save us and restore all of creation.

This prayer (or Collect) and these scriptures are taken from the Anglican Book of Common Prayer.

Almighty God, whose Son our Savior Jesus Christ is the light of the world: Grant that your people, illumined by your Word and Sacraments, may shine with the radiance of Christ’s glory, that he may be known, worshipped, and obeyed to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
